Twitter kills the blogging star
I’ll admit I do have a Twitter account but only to stalk celebrities. I’m still on the boat of thinking that everyone is just far too comfortable being TMI these days. It’s not even a juicy, gossipy TMI. It’s a My Life Is Average TMI. I dunno. Maybe I’ll get the point of it soon? I do sincerely hate that good bloggers have given up their blogs for Twitter though. I would much rather read a blog than a hourly update of what sort of muffin you are currently eating.
Although I’ve been slack with my own blog lately, but hey. Being unemployed just ain’t all that interesting. I wake up and think of all the ways I am not going to spend money today.
In saying that, I got my replacement Nintendo DS yesterday! Exciting times. It’s an American flavour which means the dates are backwards but hey, at least it’s the right colour. I’ve been thrashing that nonstop, yay, entertainment on the Tube again! I’ve been playing Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars and whilst fun, it’s a bit easy. I am powering through it.
Main news:
MICHAEL JACKSON, OMG. I am so sad. I am totally a MJ fan. We’ve spent the last 3 hours at the flat singing along to the top 40 Michael Jackson Tribute.
Links I like this week:
Yea f*ck twitter. Except in the Iran situation. Also I hate celebrities – they get entirely too much attention as it is :-P
I hope you never turn to twitter because your blog is witty as f*ck!
