All of a sudden, I have time to myself, again

I have not done anything apart work for the last 2 months.  I think in the last 3 weeks I had one day off.  I’m making it sound more awful than it was, I really enjoyed my time at the pub.  Pub work in London means good people, good food, (if you hang round the kitchen bugging the chefs for long enough) free alcohol and general good times.  The whole crew there are my age and from all around the world.  I enjoyed it a lot and now that I find myself unemployed (again) I’m sorta lost with what to do with myself.  Ahoy, blog time, my old friend.  I confess I loved you more when I had an office job, mainly because I seemed to have had a lot more free time to piss around then.

No, I didn’t want to leave the pub.  But due to some very unfortunate happenings (bless our dearly deported!) I had to leave.

Not to worry, I have plans.  They may involved a kebab shop, seriously, I am not picky.

In other news: I passed Level 1 of my pole dancing course!  Yayz.

Carnage.

Started Level 2 and hells, there’s no pissing around in this one.  Our class is meant to be 12 people, 3 people to a pole.  Because it is a Saturday class and so close to summer, it’s only 4 people.  A pole each.  Whilst this sounded like a good thing to begin with, since I am a highly impatient person who gets frustrated watching people Do It Wrong, it actually has made the class a bit harder.  There are no breaks watching other people so it’s a full on 2 hour work out.

One of the reason I’ve been working so much lately is for preparation of our big summer tour.  Trying to save as much dough as possible whilst living on bread and milk, milk if I’m lucky.  The other day I splashed out and bought strawberries.  Do they count as nutritional value in life?  I hope so.  I ate the whole carton in 5 minutes.  Our tour plans have been coming together slowly and I just cannot wait for a holiday.

However, a small glitch came to light this evening.  Something about our lease on this flat being up about the same time I’ll be in Egypt, I think, in which case, when I arrive home I’ll not only be unemployed, but also homeless. ONCE AGAIN.  London has this annoying groundhog day thing going on.

Still thinking up the game plan for that one.
