At the first pub we met a couple of Irish guys.  “Oh New Zealand,” he said.  “I know how to speak a bit of Kiwi”.
“Do you now? Let’s hear it”.
“Ahem”.  He paused for a minute.  “Over heazy bro!  Sweet as ow!”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything funnier than an Irish man copying a Maori accent.

On Sunday we went to the Shepards Bush Walkabout, a Kiwi and Aussie pub.  It was total carnage.  We were sober, more spectating than participating.  Spiderman was there and Scooby Doo, I’m pretty sure I saw a Ninja and Snoopdog as well.
“Heellloooo” a drunken guy purred at me.  “You’re the most beautiful girl in the worrlllld”.
“Thanks man”
“Heellloooo” he continued on to Andrea.  “You’re the most beautiful girl in the worrllld”.
“Yeah, thanks, buddy”.
“Heellooo” he continued on to Jess.

At the same pub, another drunken guy approached us. “I’m sooo wasted” he slurred at us.  “I’m sooo wasted I’ll buy you girls a drink.  No! I’m drunk! Don’t take advantage of me!  If you take advantage of me, I might buy you a drink!”
“We’ll try to contain ourselves” Andrea rolled her eyes at him.

All in all, a fairly eventful weekend.
