BRRRRRRRR

It went from pretty chilly to freaking freezingtitsoff overnight.

Literally, overnight.  Apparently it snowed last night.  I am guttered I didn’t see it, I’ve still never seen snow fall from the sky before, I only found out this morning – when I got to work.

Due to me getting up at 3am, cold and shivering and sleepily cranking my heater up as far as it would go, (I really need to stop getting up and doing stupid stuff when I’m still half asleep) I seriously misjudged how cold it would be today.  I got up, was like, hrm.  Bit warm in here.  It’s not so bad.

I am now sitting at my desk at work in a ski jacket and my scarf wrapped around my face. Despite my dads insistence that a heat pump is the best method of heating a room / car, nothing beats the little blow fans that pump air so hot that you can only have it on one part of your leg at one time.  Then you have to switch legs.  Then you turn it off and promptly freeze again.  Then because you’re so warm you get sleepy and stick your head on the desk and nod off.  Or maybe that’s just me.

I’m seriously considering a buying a balaclava.  Is there any form of balaclava that doesn’t make you look like a bank robber? It’s not a good idea to be walking round London at night like that.  My face gets so cold, I think I’m going to get frostbite in my nose.

At least now I have a legit excuse to wear my fluffy star-shaped earmuffs.

try to find a pink balaclava, or really any kind that isnt black. Should make you look less like a mugger/bank robber.

I thought about one with ears, but then realised that would look super even more creepy.

When i saw “belachlava” i thought “baklava,” which is a wonderful idea but can’t really keep you warm, unless you are covered in it, and in that case, yum!

Try some long johns or under armor. Some of that stuff is so warm and toasty.

My nose gets really cold too. Sometimes I cup my hands over my nose and blow in real hard to try to warm it.

Or you could get one of those artic wetsuits that pump warm water through them to keep you nice and toasty….

Hrmm, maybe not.
